What is the difference between being wealthy and being rich?
The reason why I am asking this question is because I always thought that wealthy and rich meant the same thing but I've heard that it is better to be wealthy than it is to be rich but I'm not exactly sure why that is? Which do you think is better and why? thanks for all your help!

Rich is like gaining money from your parents. You were born rich, you didn't
gain the money yourself.
Being wealthy is earning the money.

I suppose Chris Rock explianed this a few years ago. If you have money to handle your problems and probably help a couple of humans. You're rich but the guy who will pay your cheque is rich. He has way more than he needs in this lifestyles time. Wealthy humans possess corporations and industry that provide employment for hundreds and probably 1000s of folks. What this means is someone can make cash, however what number of humans possess cash.

The difference is that being rich, you have a lot of money and/or great possessions and being wealthy, you just have a lot of money. Wealthiness is technically one of the things of being rich.
