After doing the big 3, will adding a second battery require a high output altenator?

Update:

As in previous question, I have 2 DD1508"s running off of a Hifonics Glx1800.1d. When cranked my lights dim very bad.

    Bigger alternator, and get a better battery.

    NO capacitor.

    Additional battery will not require a bigger alternator, but your very powerful music system will.
