KIMSNG-121015: Why am I getting an error message when trying to add a contact?

Description: This addresses an issue where customers may be unable to add contacts in Yahoo! Messenger due to one or both of the following error messages:

There was an error in the server while trying to add a contact.

Your request to add a contact has taken longer than expected.

Current Status: We are actively investigating this issue and working to provide a resolution as quickly as possible.

Workaround: There is no workaround at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this issue.

We are now receiving reports of customer not able to access Messenger in Mail while using the Firefox Browser. If you are experiencing trouble while using Firefox, please read the article, 'Which browsers does Yahoo! Mail support?':

maybe you have too much data on ur phone or too many contacts not sure
