Do you believe in the "SECOND COMING?

First of all, let us respect everyone's belief and not argue in this matter, everyone has the right to whatever they believe in..

My concern is what if He comes, descending from heaven as He ascended thousand years ago..

What if He comes anytime from now, what hope do you have?

No, but if the rapture does happen and all the fundies are suddenly gone, the average intelligence of all humans on earth will rise dramatically.

The theological notion of a "rapture" was invented 170 years ago. In 1830, in Port Glasgow, Scotland, fifteen year old Margaret MacDonald had a vision concerning the return of Christ. Her vision was adopted by John Nelson Darby a British minister and founder of a denomination called the "Plymouth Brethern." In 1909, an American, C. I. Scofield, pubished an annotated version of the "King James" translation of the Bible called the "Scofield Reference Bible." Scofield's annotations were based on the theology of John Nelson Darby. The "Scofield Reference Bible" popularized the teachings of Darby. Fundamentalist Christians in the U. S. adopted Scofield's Bible as authoritative. With the rise of fundamentalism in the U. S. in recent years, the popularity of the theological notion of the "rapture" has also gained popularity.

"The Rapture is common stock in many Evangelical theologies. Most biblical scholars, myself included, not only don't believe in the rapture, we are frustrated by it. At a minimum it creates a fear based theology that causes ministry from a wrong motive." - John Byron Associate Professor of New Testament at Ashland Theological Seminary. .

I set things right long ago, and I have a wonderful promise. So my hope has turned into a reality. Let us not forget that the anti Christ comes first, and many will be deceived.

he judged and then destroyed the Roman Empire, and spiritually married his Christian church bride - thats what Revelation is all about

and he is here now today among his faithful

Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
