Macbook is connecting to the network but unable to connect to websites.?
I have a macbook pro and it is not able to connect to the internet. This is NOT a local network issue as it is happening on every network I connect to.
Here is what I have done so far:
* Deleted every plist file I thought had anything to do with network connections
* Held down opt+cmd+p+r during boot to reset some memory functions
* Checked that proxy settings were disabled
* Tried connecting to a proxy server
When I am in Chrome, it gives me a message that is is "Unable to resolve the server's DNS address" (both the "DNS Servers" and "Search Domains" have something in them that I recognize).
I have an IP address.
Any suggestions would help, but please dont tell me to reset router, modem, etc.

Make sure you have a valid, working DNS server configured for your Macbook. The error message indicates no name resolution. good luck!

Unplug your router and pass away it unplugged for about 10 seconds and plug it back in. which will reset your router. each so often does the trick. i recently had to deliver in my unibody MacBook professional because of the fact it had a nasty Airport communications board. once you're below guarantee you're able to call Apple if the difficulty does not end.
