take it around the block for the curiosity? absolutely.

buy one and ride it in situations that i need a bike to work well in? no.

Well, that story didn't say everything.

I did have the opportunity to ride one of those bikes. It is VERY smooth riding but as flexible as a piece of wet spaghetti. It reminds me a lot of the plastic bike some years ago, um, a LOT of years ago, made by The Original Plastic Bicycle Company. I have one (plastic bike) sitting in my warehouse.

Considering it is 20 pounds of cardboard and rubber, methinks a better solution could be found but maybe not for 20 bucks.

There is a whole article in this months "Bicyclng" magazine about this bike. It is tough as other frame materials because of hardners the frame is soaked in. Projected maximum cost s $20!! It is possible it can change the transportation systems in several continents, and countries around the world!

Sure would, why not take it out for a spin, what could possibly go wrong. I would like to say I rode a cardboard bike.

I would buy one just to hang on the wall. I would ride it first.
