Anyone see This psychological mystery/thriller with Sigourney Weaver and Robert Deniro?
I'm confused about the ending.
Did the young research assistant trying to debunk Simon Silver end up being the one with super psychic powers? If so, that is really stupid. I was starting to like the movie until the ending, which doesn't seem to make any sense at all.
If there is some logic to it please explain.

the movie was good 'til the end where they spin the story and let us see that the researcher was the one with powers. but it didnt explain how Deniro did any of his stuff.
did simon had powers?
simon was around way before the the researcher was born so simon had some power himself but i feel really disappointed after watching the movie because the ending looked rushed, no explanation no nothing.
mmm i guess this is one of those years in which movies dont reach the expectations.
