Going to Ireland for 5 days, what to do? I'll be going to Dublin and Galway for sure?

Where should we go? What should we see? Any cool towns around Dublin or Galway? Cheers!

There are a lot of things to do in Dublin. Dublin is famous for its pubs and nightlife. You will find traditional music in many of the pubs. Dublin has some great museums, libraries and galleries. It has a lot of magnificent buildings, going back several hundred years. It has a large amount of Georgian buildings. It has many parks in and around the city, including Phoenix Park, which is the largest public park in Europe. In it, amongst many things, is Dublin Zoo.

Dublin is on the coast and there are a lot of nice coastal towns to visit. South of Dublin are the Wicklow Mountains. From the city centre, within an hour you can be in these mountains and see the beauty of them. Dublin has the world famous Guinness Brewery and the Jameson Distillery, both of which run tours. In the centre of the city is Trinity College, where you can see the famous Book of Kells. There is so much more to do in Dublin, more than is possible to mention here, and like any city, you can just go shopping. It is well worth going to Dublin.

Galway is on the other side of the country and also a coastal city with a lot of beautiful scenery. It is smaller than Dublin and has its own charms. Closeby, travelling west, is Connemara. It is bleak but beautiful. If you have a car or go on a bus tour, the journey to Clifden is special. Galway is also near the Cliffs of Moher, so a tour to there should also be amongst your possibilities. The city itself is easy to get around and it has attractions such as its Cathedral an many good pubs and restaurants. There is always something happening.

Well, there's Dublin and Galway. You could always invest in a travel guide book, you know.
