I have a set of BT cordeless phones, batteries full and ring but when you answer the screens go black?

They are beautiful, charge up well, ring when someone phones us, but when you pick up to answer any of the phones go black and cut off model Calypso 225 trio

    Replace the batteries - they are worn out.

    The battery is probably warn out and needs to be replaced. It is a good idea to allow the batteries to drain out entirely then charge them back up, and when they reach full stop charging them. This will extend the life of the battery.
