how do i dye a blue dress red?
is it ok to just use a red dye on the dress or will this turn it purple? the dress is light blue. and it has a zip running down the length of the dress, will the zip be effected during the dying process?

i don't think the zipper will be affected.
you have to buy the bleach dying solution first.
it's specifically made to take away as much color from the clothing as possible. if you bought the dye at ralphs or something like it then the bleach should've been on the same shelf or at least in the same section. use that so the red will stick better. or else it will turn a very stained purple
