Who would you rank as the best and worst President in history?
Please choose only one of each. I know tensions are high at the moment given the current economic troubles, but lets keep this civilized. Please.
You can use your personal experiences to answer or what you've read from history, so long as it is your own opinion.

I can think of many good candidates for each but let me suggest FDR as best because he was more broadly tested than any other president and succeeded. He was handed the worst depression in our history and fought the largest war in the history of the world. We emerged from his near 12 years in office stronger then ever with a middle class that was the envy of the world. On the worst end, Millard Fillmore. He signed the "Compromise of 1850" into law, the first legislative attempt to deal with the growing unrest between the North and the South. We learned through subsequent presidents and ultimately civil war, the humanity of African Americans can not be compromised.

Best: Ronald Reagan
Worst: There are so many to choose from: Wilson, FDR, Truman, Johnson, Carter, Clinton, or Obama? Probably either Clinton or Obama. Wilson gave us the federal reserve and a "temporary" income tax. FDR at least had some good points like his opposition to Hitler but his policies basically extended those of Hoover's and prolonged the Great Depression.. Carter was just a hapless hypocrite and moron. Clinton took lying to a new level only true sociopaths can achieve. Johnson used his temporary majority to saddle the nation with more government entitlements that were poorly thought out and not paid for. Obama sold the nation on "hope and change" with what is just warmed over socialist crap and class warfare.
