Easily dissolving Lorcet?

I just got prescribed 10/650 Lorcet and since I have trouble swallowing pills whole I bit mine in half in my mouth, but almost as soon as I did it seemed to dissolve easily. Was this normal or were my pills weak/bunk? They came from the same pharmacy I've been getting them from for years. Should I call the pharmacy and tell them about this? I have never experienced Lorcet or Vicodin dissolving so easily after just being bitten in half. Normally, I get 7.5/500 version of Lorcet/Lortab whatever its called. This is the first time in a long time that I've been given 10mg pills. The doctor was distracted and didn't really know what he was doing. Is this normal for 10mg versions of the same medication?

Yes, they stop the pain and give me a slight "buzz/warm feeling" but the quick-dissolve concerns me. I'm worried they're not as strong as they should be. I have refills on them. When I get them refilled, perhaps ask for a different brand, what? This is for a tooth that was recently surgically removed (infected down to the nerve due to dentist error). I am not taking these for fun!

The pills are fine. Nothing to be concerned about. Just be careful about having had so many scripts for pain meds. Feel better.
