  • How to tell degree of trespassing charge?

I got charged with trespassing and received a yellow ticket with a court date. Under the section where they write what crime I committed, it just says 'trespassing' there is no degree or anything. The officer did not tell me which degree either, and at the time, I didn't know there were two types, so I didn't ask. He simply said that 'next time it happened, I would go to jail'. Should I expect it to be a 1st or 2nd degree trespassing? I was in an area of Walmart parking lot and honestly had no idea I was trespassing. I have no problem paying a fine, but I really don't want to go to jail for something I didn't know was illegal. I can't afford a lawyer and my local court says they do not provide lawyers (yes, I asked).

Also, would it be best to simply plead guilty or try to plead not guilty and defend myself in court? I know very little about the legal system, since I have never been arrested or anything before. I had a shoplifting charge, but it was brought down to a littering charge and I paid the fine. Other than that, the only other law violation was a minor traffic citation.

  • My Little Pony Build a Bear Pinkie Pie?

Does anyone know how to get this cheaper than the usual $100 on eBay? I need her to complete my collection of Build a Bear ponies, and she one of the best looking Pinkies I have ever seen. Would it be possible that my local Build a Bear might have some in storage in the back or that they would just possibly not be sold out? I live in Missouri, near St. Louis. Other "auction type" sites like eBay would help me find one, as well. I have seem Build a Bear ponies on St. Louis craigslist, but never Pinkie Pie. I have made several posts looking for them, offering up to $70 for one, even an unstuffed one, but no reply.

Is it still at all possible to get this doll for under $100?

  • Caught trespassing at Walmart, given court summons, what will likely happen?

Basically, I signed a no trespass "notice" or whatever they're called over a year ago when Walmart thought I was shoplifting (I was not, I got a lawyer and the charge was dropped). I had been going in to the SAME STORE ever since the first charges were dropped for OVER A YEAR, but today apparently someone recognized me and pulled me back to the office, called a cop, and I was given a court summons for trespassing. My lawyer explicitly told me "don't worry about that" when I told him about the trespass notice during the first 'charge'. Did Walmart have the right to do this, since they are not technically owned by the courts, or was this just extremely ridiculous and bitter employees trying to get me in court again because I 'escaped justice' when the lawyer proved I had NOT shoplifted at all, simply stuck a book under my purse in my cart to keep it flat and out of the mass of groceries in my full cart.

If I just plead guilty (some have said this is usually the best thing to do), what would happen to me? If I decide to plead not guilty, would it be best to get the same lawyer I used for the first case to handle this one for me or just go on my own and explain that I had no idea I was trespassing since my lawyer explicitly told me that it wasn't a problem and not to worry about it. I don't plan on mentioning my other forays into the same store, since apparently no one had recognized me or cared, unless bringing up how I'd been going to the store for a year without anyone saying/doing anything would help me.

I don't want to go to jail, and the police officer and Walmart woman heavily implied that I WOULD NOT go to jail over this, but I still have doubts and I am worried. I live in Jefferson County, Missouri, USA, and only have one previous misdemeanor, not at all related to trespassing. Also, the court denied me a court appointed attorney during the first charge and I had to find one and pay him $750, which I could do at the time, but now I am laid off. How would I go about getting a lawyer if I need one? Is there any way the court could be forced into giving me an attorney since I CANNOT afford to pay my previous lawyer? The court date is Sept 11 this year, so over a month away. Please help if you can!

  • Help with opiate withdrawals , OTC meds only!?

I'm trying to quit cold turkey here (no methadone, no bupes). I am not a crazy drug addict or anything. I have just been taking Norco/Lorcet (depending on which of my two doctors I go to) for around 4 years. I'm tired of feeling worried and anxious when I run out, which I always do. Not because of abuse, but because of the doctor's instructions on taking it and how often he/she will prescribe it. Norco is supposed to last two weeks, which is does, but I cannot afford to go to my doctor every two weeks. Lorcet lasts longer, since it has less dosages, but it is even worse. I run out, but I am scripted THIS by my OBGYN (I have very bad endometriosis) and she charges insane prices just to have her check out my female parts and write a prescription. Hundreds of dollars for a few minutes of uncomfortable examination and a script.

What is the best way to quit with OTC meds? Also, I have SOME prescription meds available; Trazadone, Celexa, Xanax 1mg, Klonopin 1mg. My Benzo tolerance is INSANELY high. I was on 6mg a day from a script via my family doctor. My psychiatrist cut me down to 2mg Kpin plus 1mg Xanax. I honestly LOATHE Xanax (tastes like chalk, does nothing) and going from 6mg to 2mg Kpin is not fun at all. So as it is, I have very little anxiety control. Celexa makes me ill right now. Trazadone just makes me fall asleep. Should I try and rely on the scripted meds, or are there better OTC meds that would help me?

I DO NOT want to be dependent on Hydrocodone anymore. Yes, some might argue that benzos are worse, but I was diagnosed with about six different anxiety disorders, so all of my doctors agree that I need them. I am planning on telling my psychiatrist that the 2mg Kpin does not work for me since I used to be on 6mg per day. Perhaps he can either help me taper down or just prescribe the 6mg that my family doctor had no issue prescribing.

  • When can I get a refill on my pills?

I have Norco 10/325 prescribed (60 of them) to take one every four hours as needed. I was just curious as to when I can get them refilled. I am NOT a drug seeker. I am going on vacation and would like to make sure I have enough medication. For my previous pain pills, Lorcet 10/650, I could get them refilled every 13/14 days (depending on whether the pharmacist knew me). I assume I can get these filled even earlier? I was given the exact same amount and dosage (just less tylenol, Dr was concerned for my liver).

  • Will Klonopin help with Vicodin withdrawals?

I have been taking Klonopin and Vicodin (well, the 10mg version) for nearly 3 years now. It got to the point of 3 pills a day of the Vicodin not working anymore until I go up to 6 pills. My doctor still has no problem giving me a steady supply, but I don't have an appointment for another month and I'm almost out of pills, but I have an excess of 2mg Klonopin tablets. I'm supposed to take 2 of those a day, and sometimes I don't take any or just take one, so I have too many. If I perhaps took more Klonopin than prescribed, does anyone thing that this would help with my Vicodin withdrawals until I can get back to my doctor?

No, I am not abusing it and I intend to discuss it not helping anymore with my doctor next time. It is for Endometriosis and Ovarian Cysts, which are both VERY painful for a still-menstruating young woman. My doctor is NOT an OBGYN (I only go to her every 6 months) but with her request, he still prescribes pain medication for me. I just need help getting through the next month of Vicodin withdrawals until I can get a new script.

  • Easily dissolving Lorcet?

I just got prescribed 10/650 Lorcet and since I have trouble swallowing pills whole I bit mine in half in my mouth, but almost as soon as I did it seemed to dissolve easily. Was this normal or were my pills weak/bunk? They came from the same pharmacy I've been getting them from for years. Should I call the pharmacy and tell them about this? I have never experienced Lorcet or Vicodin dissolving so easily after just being bitten in half. Normally, I get 7.5/500 version of Lorcet/Lortab whatever its called. This is the first time in a long time that I've been given 10mg pills. The doctor was distracted and didn't really know what he was doing. Is this normal for 10mg versions of the same medication?

Yes, they stop the pain and give me a slight "buzz/warm feeling" but the quick-dissolve concerns me. I'm worried they're not as strong as they should be. I have refills on them. When I get them refilled, perhaps ask for a different brand, what? This is for a tooth that was recently surgically removed (infected down to the nerve due to dentist error). I am not taking these for fun!

  • When can I get a refill on my pills?

I have some medication that is "Take one every 6 hours". I got it on July 24th. When can I get a refill? I had 60 pills. They are NOT opiates or narcotics, but they are blood pressure pills that I need and I ended up putting them in the medicine cabinet over the toilet and accidentally knocked the bottle down. I will be paying out of pocket since I have no insurance. When will the pharmacy let me get them?

If all else fails, I could call my doctor and explain and have him call the pharmacy, but I'd rather just get a refill rather than cry over spilt pills and sound like a moron to my doctor (I learned my lesson about keeping medication over the toilet and it won't happen again). Again, this is blood pressure medicine, NOT anything that can be abused. I think its called Metoprolol. Its something that is even very cheap as a generic. The pharmacy I use is pretty heavy-handed on letting you get scripts early (they won't give you meds even a day early unless a doctor says its okay, I tried with some Vicodin before I went on vacation so I would have enough to last my vacation, I had to get my doctor to call them), so I wouldn't be doing this unless I REALLY needed it. My pulse is consistently over 120 unless I take this medication. Yes, I'm having tests run. In the mean time, I need this to keep my pulse low enough so I don't have a heart attack.

  • I Really Hate New Yahoo Mail?

I hate new Yahoo Mail and it FORCED me to switch to the new version from my classic version. Is there ANY way to get Classic back at all? It did not offer me the option of NOT switching and wouldn't even let me go to my inbox without agreeing to switch. This is crap that they're making us use an inferior product when we much prefer the old version.

  • Caught Shoplifting at Walmart?

I was caught shoplifting from Walmart in Missouri (I have shoplifted before, but was not apprehended, yes, I regret it and I made a stupid mistake) but this is my first shoplifting/theft charge. The total merchandise stolen was around $90-$100, if even that, for BOTH times. It was simply some DVDs. I admitted my guilt and cooperated with the LPS people in Walmart. The officer that they called did not take me to jail or cuff me but he gave me what was similar to a ticket and told me I could either show up on my scheduled court date (a month from now) or take care of it over the phone. I called the court and they said that for shoplifting charge I MUST appear in court. Now, the officer was a Sergeant. Did he not know what he was talking about when he told me I could simply take care of it over the phone? I did offer restitution and payment to Walmart for the stolen merchandise. If I show up for court, what will happen to me? Will I go to jail or just face a fine/have to pay for what I stole (yes, it was stupid and will never happen again, it was a moment of weakness, I stole DVDs for my kids' birthdays, but excuses don't matter to the court)?

Thank you for answering. I did NOT have my driver's license on me (it was in my vehicle, I was going to work) but I willingly gave them my address, phone number, and SSN. I hope that being cooperative and this being my first offense will be taken into account. I know it was stupid. It won't happen again, so please don't tell me "you shouldn't have stolen anything in the first place". I already heard it enough. I have low income, so hiring a lawyer is out the window (why else would I steal DVDs for my children?) so please don't tell me to hire a lawyer. I can't afford it. I can and will do community service if that will help. I am a nursing assistant, so I hope that I don't have a felony or whatever on my police record. Beyond one traffic ticket, I have never had an issue with the law.

  • Pill refill question?

I got my pills on 5/07/12, and its take 1 pill 4 times a day as needed for pain. I'm going on vacation, and the pills are for feminine pain (I have a painful disease called endometriosis where scar tissues constantly grow in the uterus, I've already had to have one ovary removed) and I want to make sure I have enough to last my entire vacation. I want to get them filled this week, but I am not sure if that is too early or not. Does anyone know if I can get them filled around the 14th or 15th?
