Can i press charges on the postman for trespassing?
The postman trespasses about 5 or 6 times a week and quite frankly ive had enough of it. I do live on private property so therefore its illegal for him to be stepping on it isnt it? Also he always destroys my flowers when he climbs over my fence to put letters in my neighbours letterbox instead of going out the gate first. And he has also eroded my front path which is really annoying because i love that path! >:[
So basically can i get him arrested for trespassing?
I am not a troll thank you very much >:( u ****

You can't get him arrested as its not a criminal offence, you would have to take civil action against him. Chances of you getting anywhere are slim, as it is legally known as 'implied access'.
Perhaps install a letter box at the end of your property and ask him to deliver there rather than your front door.

Implied right of access is an automatic right that is granted to post workers, bin men, leaflet droppers and anyone else who has legitimate reason to go on to your property. The may use the path, drive, gate, letterbox etc to access. Climbing over fences on flower beds would be damage you could reasonably complain about.
You can withdraw Implied Rights by informing the appropriate company in writing. But you won't receive your post unless you install a box outside.

A Postman has IMPLIED RIGHT OF ACCESS under law. You simply write to the Manager in charge at the Royal Mail office stating he is climbing over fence and damaging flowers if this is not stopped you will sue Royal Mail in court. I think you wil find the postman will stop or be moved to another round.

No you need to no longer whilst you evaluate that they had a reason to be there, if the door is open. If the door grow to be closed and that they opened it and walked in, you need to record rates. greater advantageous than possibly it would ought to be a misconduct, technique can charge some what like seek your place without consent or what ever simply by fact returned that they had a reason to be there. Trespassing is for criminal rates. it may well be somewhat perplexing to get to that ingredient if their on duty.

Just politely ask him to go out the gate to get to your neighbours house
instead of going over an adjoining fence

I understand you're annoyed at him for stepping on your flowers... but he's doing his job which is delivering post. Talk to him first, or report him to his bosses. If it doesn't stop, then try the police. But to be honest, i don't think the police would care to much about arresting someone for walking on flower beds when they're trying to catch murderer's, rapists and paedophiles.

Trespass is a civil matter not a Police one and it is almost impossible to take action on it - so not you cannot.

No you can't. Trespass is basically entering your land without lawful reason, and a postie has lawful reason.
You need to not be a jobsworth and speak directly to him. If he ignores your request go to his/her boss.

I am sure you can do it if you want to but you could just tell him and give the poor guy a warning first. Maybe then he will stop.
