YES! definately worth it, I mean you can just upgrade the old one to IOS 6 but the new iPod has a better camera with a flash and the screen is an inch bigger

I Absolutely agree there really is no difference except the screen is slightly larger and its slightly faster and the camera is a little better and the software and there are different colors but other than that I don't see the big deal.

they seem better. but you can look for yourself. you would get a bigger, thinner, lighter, and overall better ipod if you go with ipod 5. it also has siri and flash and comes in cool colors! it all depends on how much you want to spend.
