Sonic. One because he has red shoes which was inspired by Michael Jackson along with His music for sonic the hedgehog three which mj helped with. He is much more cute and awesome. Plus he has a game where he is a knight. Very original character and sega has been a great company.

Between the characters Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man, Mega Man is a more versatile character and generally much easier to control.

Both are phenomenal serieses with excellent games
But I think Capcom has buried Megaman. He's just a relic now.
