Question about burning calories and fitness?
I'm on a diet. So I work out 5 or 4 times a week, and I usually take a break on the weekend but I always feel like I will gain weight if I haven't worked out that day? I eat healthy and am very cautious of the calories I consume, and I know that you gain weight if you eat more calories then you burn, but are the calories we burn doing daily activities enough to burn the calories we eat? (I consume about 600-700 calories on an average day)
thank you very much :)
I don't have an eating disorder, I eat when I'm hungry in portions. I never go to bed hungry

By only eating 600-700 calories you are putting your body under stress as you are literally starving yourself, and your body will desperately hold on to it's fat supplies (you may notice you lose a few pounds, but this is primarily water weight), this is a result of your metabolism crashing. For a healthy balance, you need at least 1300 calories per day. But as for your rest days, you burn calories as your body repairs and expands its muscle fibers that were worn down from working out. Also not working out for one day, eating healthily, you will not gain weight. Working out consistently raises your metabolism a whole lot, and increases the # of calories burn at resting state. Hope this helped

600-700 calories a day while working out! if that's normal or excessive to you then you probably have an eating disorder.
Also on days you're not working out you should eat less than on your workout days. But this doesn't apply to you yet because you should be eating at minimum 1500 even if you are on a diet

oh my god 600-700 calories a day IS WAY TOO LITTLE
this is so dangerous you need to eat more regardless of how much you work out
