Will Student Finance Pay for A Degree if I have a Degree Already?

I am currently studying a health and social care course at college and want to study childrens nursing at university.

The NHS will pay for my tuition fees for that degree but I was looking into a law conversion course as I am interested in law but I havent picked subjects that will allow to do law straight out.

Will student finance pay for the law conversion course? or will I have to pay considering the NHS will have payed for the first course.

Student finance never pays for the law conversion course (Graduate Diploma in Law). This is a one year course that does not lead to a degree and therefore never qualifies for a student loan. You may be able to get a bank loan.

I am pretty certain that student finance will only pay for your first degree.

However, check on their website, and if you can't find out from there then email them, they are happy to help.

If you haven't had one before, you can apply for a student loan.
