Edward Norton from American History X.... hes a fighter who is tough, and protects his home from 3 men who are trying to steal/rob his grandpas truck and he kills 2 of them. But he kind of starts off as a bad guy (Nazi Skinhead) because of what happened in the past (His father getting shot dead by Black people). He was mislead as a child because his father filled his head with all the racism, and the irony of the story is his father died by the same people that he despised. Edward Norton in the film goes to prison where he meets a black man. They become friends and Edward (being white) obviously has to join a racist Nazi Skinhead gang in prison for protection. In prison, he notices that the whites arent real Nazis and are posing by trading drugs with the Mexicans in prison. Working with his Black friend, he realizes that life is to short to be racist all of the time, and when he gets out he tries to do good by : Confronting the leader of the Nazi movement, and trying to save his brother from making the same mistakes that he made. He tries to get a job and do good, but at the end of the film, his brother who disrespected a black kid in the school bathroom earlier in the film by blowing smoke into his face, gets shot dead in the same bathroom by the same kid. Edward Norton tried protecting his brother in the film and it got so far that he didn't realize that the monster he use to be rubbed off on his loved one, and they both payed the price for it.

That sounds like Robert Downey Jr to me, actually lol.

I think Jon Bernthal would be fantastic for the part! :)
