Obama made a point of the veterans because Republicans in Congress have defeated bills to help the vets, and Romney agreed with them. Just recently Republicans in the Senate filibustered a veterans employment bill, the same two Republicans who had helped write the bill!

  • Obama has done a lot for vets and military families. I do not believe Romney will do so.

Vets are one of countries main obligations, an obligation that needs to be honored. They signed a contract with our country, they risked their lives so others can stay home and never have to do so.

President Obama brought up Veterans at least five times. Romney? Nah. Maybe quickly mentioned once. Fact is, Dems are always better to vets than Repubs. Remember McCain being against updating the G.I. bill?

One man talked about policies he has implemented toward helping the Vets., and talked about how we need to do more.

The other failed to even mention the Vets. For this particular man, Vets. are only good for fighting wars he and his five sons support, yet don't have the spine to join, and once these Vets come home, it's tough luck you lazy 47% leech!
