my status in the world of yahoo questions?

i would like to know why i have been stripped of my " top contributer " status ? my names not lance !!! but i guess i'll just have to sink into self-denial or ride a pushbike into the sunset , sigh !!

    Oh geez... such drama. The exact formula isn't publicized, but it's rumored we need to answer approx. 50 questions in the category you have the TC badge in, in a 30-day period, and of those answers, get 10% best answers. You'd have to maintain that balance of Best Answers to total answers to keep the Top Contributor badge once you get it. It's easy to slip below those numbers and lose the badge, and the same goes for getting it back again.

    The TC designation is dynamic and can be removed if your percentage of BA and answers in a category drops below the Yahoo requirement. If that happens spend a little more time in that category answering questions and quite possibly you will regain the designation.
