Toyota 22re longevity?

How long can they reasonably be expected to last? I have a 94 with 240k on it. Oil changed every 3k since new, timing chain & oil pump last year. Only uses 1 pint of oil between changes, no leaks. Id like to get 2 more yrs out of it.

I worked for toyota as a technician. We had a guy that delivered papers with his truck with this engine. He had over 400000 miles on it. All we replaced was his clutch. Keep oil in it and do the regular maintenance.

If you keep it well maintained, it should run for a good long time. The reason why many cars don't last past 200k miles is because of a lack of maintenance from the owner.
