3/4 inch slice in a tire repair?
I do not know what sliced the tire it's in the center of the tire in a tred bar, the cut goes across the tire side to side but is only 3/4 inch long. I repaired it with a plug patch. I haven't put it Back on My truck yet. the tire size is 275 60 r20 it goes on a 2012 ram 1500 4x4. It was on the front. I don't want to have to replace the tire because it only has 8000 miles on it. I will if I have to. Do you guys think it will hold

I can tell you without seeing it to just replace it. Not worth the safety risk taking it to a mom and pop shop to have it "fixed". Take it to where you bought it. It should be under some sort of road Hazzard warranty. If not then call the tire manufacturer. A little known fact is that the majority of tire manufacturers actually have a "factory road Hazzard warranty". Meaning even if you didn't purchase one through the tire retailer, you could still possibly be covered. Most of them only cover the first 2/32" of tread depth. It's worth a shot to save you big bucks, and most importantly possibly save your life. Your tires are the only thing between you and the road. If the tires aren't safe, you and everybody you drive next to aren't safe.

I doubt it will hold. You should get away with having an inside patch applied over the cut. Not all tire shops are privy to do such repairs. Some of the used tire shops on the bad side of town are good at doing things the large chains wont touch.

Put a boot in it, and a tube.If that does not work scrap it.Does it have a warranty ,many do, they cover the tire -BUT NOT SIDEWALL- Take it slow and see if that holds air. They measure tread depth.Did not shout at you just stressing a point.
