What do you think about The Embassy situation?

I know. I heard it announced tonight on...........where else............the only news you can count on for truth............FOX. The White House knew in real time through uncovered emails that not only was is a terrorist attack, with Al Queda taking responsibility for it, but they stood by and did nothing to even try to help our Americans. Then they went on this lying cover up story for weeks and weeks.

I think no one is going to do anything about it before Nov.6. If Obama wins, then it will become an anchor around his neck, as the Republicans push for hearings and investigations. If Romney wins, there will probably still be investigations, but I suspect they will be kept more low key.

There are a lot of questions that need to be answered. At the least, people made stupid mistakes. At worst, they created the conditions that led to the death of 4 Americans, and may be criminally culpable. The biggest issue is why those Americans were there when they they were there, without sufficient security. I doubt the ambassador decided to take a Sunday stroll through Benghazi on the anniversary of 9/11. So who sent him there, for what purpose? The answers to those questions will tell us a lot about this administration, as will how they handle shifting the blame.

When 9/11 happened, and Bush wanted to blame Iraq, where were these guys calling for Bush's impeachment? Oh, right, they were busy calling anyone who criticized the president a traitor. I think their bias is clear, and they can be ignored.

Last I heard, there was an unrelated, peaceful demonstration regarding the video earlier that day, but it quickly dispersed when the militia showed up. I can imagine how confusion could have occurred. To try to make political hay out of this assault is tasteless and petty.

Obama spent 2 weeks acting as an Al Jazeera spokesman broadcasting terrorist propaganda to justify the attack and deny that it was a coordinated terrorist attack.

'The United States has sent Marines to protect its embassy in Sudan after three people died in Khartoum, the capital, during clashes over an on-line video which insults Islam.

'The German and British embassies were also attacked, as a wave of demonstrations against the anti-Islam video swelled and swept across much of the Muslim world after Friday prayers.'
