Our feelings are mutual, so what happens now?

So, last night, my best friend, who is also my crush, FINALLY figured out that I like him. I was, and still am, so overjoyed to hear that he's felt the same way about me. He and I have been close friends for almost half a year, and as it turns out, that's how long he and I liked each other. Now I can't sleep because I'm too excited to see him tomorrow for the first time knowing that we feel the same way about each other.

I guess what I'm trying to ask is, what will happen now? Clearly, I understand that no one can possibly answer that for me, but if there is anyone who has been in a similar situation, what happened? Did you go out, or did the bond in your friendship just grow stronger? Or did this just make things awkward? Yes, its silly to feel this uncertain about everything, as this just happened a few hours ago, but I'm curious to know my possibilities. Please, anything you have to say will be very helpful for me.
