Why Would the President cover it up? What could he possibly gain from covering this up?

I am sure this president and all others know about things than they let on
There are several reason
Giving to much information out, could make it worst
Republican and Demarcate President does not tell the public everything they know
They should not
If the president did not know more that what he said, I would wonder what is wrong with the president
That what they should do
If Romney or Bush were president, they would not tell say everything they know
Or should they
The fact Romney does not get that, that could be a problem

He didn't know it was a terror attack. Although it seemed comparable to a terrorist attack, his administration had given little to no thought about the situation whatsoever. Ignoring the request for heightened security demonstrates the fact, and Obama wants to sweep it all under the carpet with false speculation of any kind.
Would it surprise you if he claimed executive privilege over the incident? He chanced ruining his political carrier with it before, covering for his friend that he appointed Attorney General.

We didn't adequately secure the consulate in Benghazi and didn't respond during the 7-hour siege.
