is a jeep cherokee sport the same as a cherokee XJ?

i have a 1990 jeep cherokee sport, and sometimes it is hard to find parts for. i get a little confused and was wondering if the XJ is the same? thanks

    XJ is Chryslers internal model code for an 84-01 Cherokee. All models including sport are XJs.

    Yes it is the same. Hard to find parts for? There are hundreds of website out there an many more Jeep specialty stores all over the world. It shouldn't be to hard to find parts. If you do find yourself having trouble. You let me know and I will be more than happy to help you.
