AirAsia has no American destinations. However, there are a number of international airports that it serves which have flights connecting to the US. So, if you wanted to fly with AirAsia, you'd have to fly another airline to a major international airport like Melbourne, London Heathrow, or Beijing, and then change to AirAsia.

Nope, Air Asia only flies within Asia and from Asia to Australia (and back) since they cancelled their European routes a year or so ago.
I've flown Air Asia a few times, and they're nothing special. They are a low cost airline that nicks you for every dime they can get and offer nothing on their flights that you don't have to pay for. Air Asia doesn't fly to the US and never has.

You'll have to go to Asia first. They are a low cost airline. Good for commuting around Asia, but little else.

there are probable countless causes, the most glaring being that passenger site visitors regularly dictates the most worthwhile/useful direction, jet streams do have a bearing, as does the potential to %.-up passengers in the course of the refuelling end, which maximum uk agencies can no longer do by the united states of a. the rationalization they do no longer proceed interior the same course, is by way of airways flying schedules, ie. the same plane operating LHR-HKG-MEL, might want for use to operate MEL-HKG-LHR on the go back.
