First tattoo help! Please♥?
I got my tattoo on October 19th and I was wondering how long I apply the ointment they advised me to buy and use. They didn't say how long to keep applying, it's on my ankle and maybe a tad bit bigger than a quarter.
@Kaitlyn: Not gonna lie in a few spots it felt like my cat had scratched me, but it didn't hurt nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be. :)
If you're deciding where to get it between foot or ankle I think I'd deff do the ankle, mainly cause we have more meat on our ankles then foot so it wouldn't hit the bone as much but that's just me :D

I keep my tattoos covered for half the day with.glad.wrap
To.stop it drying out. And then apply ointment whenever it feels dry.
I did this for a week and a half once it was peeled and starting to.feel.normal
Then i. Switched to moisturizer

I heard you are suppose to do it for 1-2 weeks. A friend of mine got a heart on her hip, and only applied the ointment for 3 days and it looked to have rubbed off or faded badly. She had to get it redone

A lot of places will tell you different. Most tattoo shops I've gone to tell you to apply it very liberally for 7-10 days then use an unscented lotion on it if it's still drying out after those days are up.
