Certain gases reach levels of static equilibrium at atmospheric vapor pressures. It is possible to see several gas layers with clear or lightly tinted polarized glasses. Most likely all the sulfur dioxide rises to a level that the sun refracts the yellow gas. All gases seek a static level in the atmosphere; some of these layers affect radio and broadcast signals. All these layers have a characteristic resonant freq. or a band pass which conduct certain radio freq. The rest is top secretlol.
