while I'm sure it's true that a few people are better off with Obama, most people aren't. Why do Dems get so upset when their shown facts that the national deficit is up, unemployment is up, public assistance is up, home foreclosures are up, etc. Why do they insist this is a good thing; do they know something that I don't?

He paid all the taxes that he owed, also donated $4 million to charity (last year, or 20% of the income he received from investments).

Since Obama has been on a spending spree, he wants to raise taxes. Republicans want to lower taxes. With that in mind...why can't we just make all the people that voted for him get a tax hike, and the republicans get a tax break?

I mean, if you support Obama fine...pay for him. If you don't, that's ok too...and get a tax deduction so that we're not paying for things we don't agree with.

Obama said he wouldn't raise taxes on anyone earning under $100K; yet one of the 1st things he did was raise the tobacco tax (90% of people who smoke earn under $100K - including myself).

He started ObamaCare...If I don't apply for health insurance I'll get a tax penalty. If obama wants me to have health insurance, then why doesn't he pay for it with his proposed tax increase?

He's trying to put thru the biggest tax hike in history (on EVERYONE) by letting the Bush tax cuts expire.
