Why would anyone want to vote for Obama?

Obama said he wouldn't raise taxes on anyone earning under $100K; yet one of the 1st things he did was raise the tobacco tax (90% of people who smoke earn under $100K - including myself).

He started ObamaCare...If I don't apply for health insurance I'll get a tax penalty. If obama wants me to have health insurance, then why doesn't he pay for it with his proposed tax increase?

He's trying to put thru the biggest tax hike in history (on EVERYONE) by letting the Bush tax cuts expire.

BUT...he's not gonna raise taxes

Update:

perfect...wow, I have not idea what you're talking about, but gimme some of what ur smokin

Update 2:

Joe: you might just be onto something. We need to pay a college $20 mil to do a study on that.

    1) You can always stop smoking. It's almost a tax that you put upon yourself by purchasing them. Super invalid argument.

    2) You know WHY ObamaCare isn't paying for our insurance? Because Republicans copped a fit saying that it was Socialist.

    3) The Bush tax cuts effected certain segments of the population unfairly. For example, it hardly did anything to my lower income family, but for multi-millionaires, it significantly dropped the amount that they pay. So, basically what I'm saying is, that expiring these tax cuts will be hardly noticeable by the middle and lower classes, but will cause the "1%-ers" to pay their fair share. And, of you think about it, IF they are paying more, doesn't that make it more likely that the average American will get a break because the government will be making more. Or maybe, just maybe, some of that money will be used to help pay off our atrocious debt or will go back to the communities, thus making America a better place? Simply put, the Bush Tax Cuts need to die off.

If you don't buy health insurance, you have two options: apply for assistance to pay for it, or pay what amounts to a token penalty. Why? Because when you go to the emergency room with a critical illness or injury, you are taking the most expensive possible route to health care. The law requires that you cannot be refused service at the ER, so we're stuck with paying for you.

Letting the Bush tax cuts expire is the only way to get free of the huge hole in the budget caused by letting rich people pay so little compared to their income.

You have zero sympathy from me on the tobacco tax. It's time to quit.

ObamneyCare is not the largest tax increase in history as the video in the first link below proves. Personally, I would vote for Obama because he is a little better than Romney, although I would rather not vote for Obamney at all. The second link shows the incredible similarities between Obama and Romney.

Because ONLY MORONS vote for the GOP.

The GOP WILL raise your taxes to 100% if they can, because they want the 1% to pay NOTHING and the middle class to pay EVERYTHING.

They need to go, now and forever!!!

I wouldn't vote Repuke if someone put a gun to my head.

Most White guys I knew that had non-White girlfriends did so just to please their girlfriends.

As well I'm sure the lady folk did the same thing for the same mundane reason.

Gotta love the illusion of "democracy."

It's not quite as coherent as we have daydreamed it to be.
