i prefer democrat since they take a more moderate approach and no one in the GOP is. The climate in the GOP, the tea baggers, is bad and i DO NOT like them. I am only 21 years old and i am not counting out the idea for voting for a republican; however, I will mostly be a democrat

stricker, i don't believe that is the reason because of COAL. The reasons are because they are conservatives and I believe many of them personally do not like Obama because of his skin

the reason why west virginia has switched to the republican party is because of obama eliminating coal jobs in that state. even a comvicted felon got 40% of the democrat vote in the 2012 west virginia presidential primary.

Well, unless they are from West Virginia, any answer you get would be pure speculation, some may be an educated guess, some not. Here's mine, b/c Obama has essentially slapped coal miners in the face w/ the penalties enacted on mining companies for their production and profits. As for union workers voting Republican, that doesn't surprise me at all. The rank and file workers have been doing so for years.

Obama has a Hostile approximation to coal industry.
There state government is heavily Democratic both Senators Rockafeller and Manchin are Democrats, and I believe out of the 4 Congressmen only 1 is a Republican. Governor Tomblin is also a Democrat.

Republicans have extraordinarily lots set it up via gerrymandering that they are going to shop administration of the abode, they are able to't win for a sq.. So it is not suitable. As a guy or woman who voted for McCain I definitely have seen lots obstruction and sleaziness from republicans those previous 3 years that it rather is sparkling they dont want the rustic to get greater suitable. they want to combat to wreck it for political income.

I live just a few miles from West Virginia, those people celebrate when WVU wins a football game by having a bon fire, with THEIR FURNITURE!! They are totally Redneck and the Hatfields and McCoys are still a fudin!!!
