I don't understand what the big deal is, OKC just lost one big time player. James Harden was great for OKC (although he choked in the finals) but he is young and has proven to be a legit player. The thunder got Kevin Martin who is a great scorer (had a handful of seasons where he averaged over 20 ppg), the only bad thing about him is he gets injured pretty easily. Other than that, he is actually a very good replacement for Harden. They also got Jeremy Lamb is who is young and an up and comer. He can probably do well in OKC, who knows. I mean, the thunder still have their big three intact of Durant, Westbrook and Ibaka, so they didn't lose a big chunk of their team. Houston is still pretty bad though, Harden is currently their best player. BUT, Houston got two first round draft picks and a second round pick, that might do some good for them in the future. So for those who think the lakers are now the champions of the west, they need to chill because OKC lost ONE great player and replaced him with a veteran who is just as good of a scorer.

This trade really disrupts the chemistry the Thunder had going...I mean, they just went to the Finals last year. Remember when the Mavericks let Tyson Chandler walk after winning the Finals in 2011? Perhaps the same thing could happen this year with OKC, especially with Kevin Martin's proneness to injury. At least they salvaged two first-round draft picks, one likelly to be a lottery pick from the Raptors. Although it is certainly better than letting Harden walk next year, I feel that they could have gotten a much better deal with Harden's potential. I mean, Martin's already out of his prime...

  • OKC wins in this trade without a doubt. The get still have a scorer in Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb was balling in the summer circuit i heard and Houston will still be a bad team in my opinion so that draft pick should rank in top 15.

Houston gets only one player back, I guess they want to start rebuilding around Lin, Harden, and scrubs.....

After Raging Bull said it, now everybody knows lol.

He actually got traded about 19 hours ago, and the trade is not even finished. He hasn't been signed a deal which they will do VERY soon. What if the Rockets troll Harden and place him in the D-League.

This trade is hyping me up... IDK why.

Personally I think it was a great move. Harden played awful in the finals and they would've lost him to free agency anyways. The thunder also got Kevin Martin out of it who's a great shooter and can easily replace harden.

Even though they had to, its a bad loss. He was good for them offensively now hes at a Houston team that he can lead and and make better.

Had to, they offered him the most he could and he rejected it. This happens all the time in sports. The last time was the Pittsburgh Penguins with Jordan Stall.

They are going to regret it. They could've gotten a better deal
