H.R. 2306. Should it pass? If it does pass, what kind of laws will the military pass?

Yes. For some reason, a country which figured out in a scant twenty years that Prohibition didn't work has ignored that fact for 60 years now. The only reason there are cartels in Mexico is because we keep it illegal. All the Central and South American countries keep begging us to do away with them because our drug laws are destroying their countries. But the DEA lobby, the alcohol lobby, and the private prison lobby have too much money for anyone to listen to reason.

The military could probably ban its use while in the military unless you were on leave.

    No.

The intent of the bill was to end the Federal prohibition on Cannabis, turning over the regulation of marijuana to states. Marijuana use and distribution is prohibited under federal law because it has a high potential for abuse and does not have an accepted medical use in the U.S., The Food and Drug Administration has not approved smoked marijuana for any condition or disease. Decriminalizing marijuana will only lead to millions more Americans becoming addicted to drugs and greater profits for drug cartels who fund violence along the U.S.-Mexico border.
