Need help connecting my laptop to my TV?

I have a Compaq laptop with VGA, Ethernet, and USB connections and I am trying to connect it to my TV which is an Emerson with HDMI connections and the Audio/Video connections. I can't seem to find any help from Best Buy, HH Gregg or Radio Shack. Please help me find the right cable and where I can get it at. Thanks
