Does this adding 10 inches to vertical jump thing work?

I saw a video on youtube about adding 10 inches to your vertical jump. i'm 5'5 but i really would like to be able to dunk in basketball too. So should I buy this 10 inches to vertical jump thing? I would like to get the opinions of people who have actually tried this product/ training manual.     I've used the jump manual. I gained 14 inches on my vert because of it and i am only 5'6 so yeah that sh*t works. Keep reading i'll show you a few things i learn from it.

    Increasing your vertical comes down to about 4 main points

    1) Lose any extra body fat you might have, this fat is what i call anchor fat because it holds you down.

    2) Eat healthy and drink a lot of water, if your urine is not crystal clear than you are not drinking enough water.

    3) Fix your broken jumping technique

    4) Learn the CORRECT exercises to do and HOW to do them. The how part is crucial because you can do squats or calf raises all you want but if you do not do it the correct way than you will actually hurt your vertical.

    Heres another tip, the THREE MAIN muscles that help you jump higher are your glutes, your hamstring and your lower back.

    Utilize all 4 points and you'll increase your vertical

But really, the best thing is just to jump, try to add maybe sets of controlled jumps of like 10 or something, but honestly the best thing for you is to keep trying to get up there and jumping and moving just how you will while you're playing basketball. Squats and calf raises are good too. Don't believe those companies that try to sell you crap because yes some of them do work but not only is my way free but it helps improve your jumping mechanics aswell, If you keep jumping enough you're body starts realizing better ways and tiny tweeks to you're jump to make it better and of course its building strength. A year and a half ago i could touch a 9'8 rim, now i can two handed and one handed dunk from running up or standing still. I'm also 15 and 6'7... :) Oh and 1 thing i used to like to do is try to touch rim at say 9'7 and when i got that down for a few days move it to 9'8 until i got that down consistently etc. Have fun!

    @the other answerer wrong lots of people have hops that could dunk and they are 5'5. You can do it to i'm afraid your vertical will not cut it though try doing some more drills and then maybe you can excel with your hopping ability's.
