Other flavored chai latte @ starbucks?

Starbucks menu is CONFUSING! It is hard enough getting the 2-3 people working there to name off all the syrups they carry..

So, a question.

I know a latte is steamed milk with espresso.. A coffee drink, and that you can have them add flavor syrups to that. That is all well and good, but I don't particurally like coffee drinks.

I like their chai lattes, though. I'm wondering if there is some kind of way to order a latte WITHOUT espresso, like the chai.. If it is, what do I have to ask for? I want to try other syrups, but not in a coffee drink :(

Thanks!

I work at sbux. A chai latte is our Chai Tea concentrate with steamed milk and water (but many people often ask for no water). If you want to order just steamed milk with a flavor syrup (which are not nearly as strong as our chai concentrate). There is no official name for it, just say "can I have a [size] steamed milk with [flavor] syrup?"

Some people call it a steamer, some call it a babyccino, there's lots of names for it but I would not recommend you use any of them because your barista might think you mean something else.

Oh, and then give a HUUGE tip! :D
