what is better an i pod or a smart phone?

If i were you, I would get an ipod. It has games, music, etc. No need to pay monthly for a phone when you can download an app for calling on your ipod ( from the app store). Good luck

Providing you dont want a phone, the Ipod is fantasic, as it has all the features that you mentioned such as WiFi , a huge amount of music from the iTunes Store and hundreds of thousands of games and apps from the App Store as well as the Safari Web browser. So if your just after these the iPod is a great choice.

yes you could get an app to call but it requires wifi. i would recomend a smart phone. why beacause it does evreything an ipod does and more. it has 3g/4g on selected ones only. it makes calls and texts also with no wifi. if you are getting a phone i recommend the new droid razzr from verizon. if your with at&t get the htc one x. i dont know for the other ones. you welcome

Obviously smart phone If u have the option. Unless ur getting a blackberry. Blackberrys suck 8==D

I have an iPhone 4s and a iPod touch 5 gen in my opinion I think the iPod is better if it could ring it would be the best. So get a iPod touch.
