NOTE: Handgun licenses issued elsewhere in New York State are not valid in New York City.
Only a person age 21 or older can be granted a <permit to purchase> and <possess> a firearm.
<Approval> from the Commissioner must be obtained for each handgun purchased under the license.
The license to possess a handgun is a license to carry unless restricted, <but almost all licenses are restricted.> (ie; cops, mayor, council members, people with MONEY and connections)
The <permit to possess a rifle or shotgun> also serves as a permit to purchase a rifle or shotgun(WTF!! you've got to be kidding. LOL!! *I know all this already)
Here's where it gets good!!!
A license to possess a handgun in <one’s household> or place of business. (you need a license to have one in your home!)
Only a licensed handgun owner can legally possess handgun ammunition, provided it is in the caliber of the licensed handgun. (see 10-306 (g)).
Every license to carry or possess a pistol or revolver in the city may be issued for a term of no less than one year or more than three years.
It shall be unlawful for any <person>, business, licensed manufacturer, licensed importer, or licensed dealer
<to sell, transfer, deliver>
or dispose of any firearm in the city of New York unless it is accompanied by the following warning, which shall be on a label affixed to the weapon and on a separate sheet of paper included within the firearm:
(I haven't found the part where they require you to get a license to transport it to a range or gunshop yet. You can get a license, twice a year)

I think EVERYONE has been asked to leave. There won't be many guns present. HOWEVER... the NRA is TOPS! We in TN love the NRA!!!! ..... and yes, we all have guns. The bad guys don't mess with people who are packing!
