I am in search of a wife, seeing as I have almost secured a government job. She should be beautiful, of fair complexion, and not taller than five feet ten inches. She should also not have been married previously.

The difficulties are as follows:
"Fist marriage" suggests domestic abuse. You probably misspelled "first".
Your three criteria should be listed in parallel forms, if possible, I suggest that you: 1) replace "not be below" with "at least", and 2) replace "it is going to be her fi[r]st marriage" with "never previously married".
It can sometimes be awkward to start a sentence with a participial phrase, as you have it. I would replace "Now, almost securing", with "Since I am about to secure ...". Even, that phrase is a bit vague and technical You would have more impact if you wrote instead "Since I am about to be hired for ..."
