They're ok, far from being masterpieces. However, alot of people here seem to enjoy them over the years. I find Renee Zellweger's British accent to be rather cliche'd and the stereotypes of us Brits being polite and uptight is a tad nausiating, because for the most part English people are portrayed in an over-the-top almost comedic fashion. At the end of the day they're just movies. Stereotypes galore!

Couple years back I used to think 'what the fuçk is this shìt?' But now I find it quite funny and have seen two or three of the films, nothing I'd tell a friend about though.
Oh and isn't it Bridget*?
Also I don't get why you asked, are we meant to feel a certain way about them?

They are funny, they're comedy but nothing like real life in the UK, at least not for me or the people I know

The first one was quite funny, the second one was dogshite. The most impressive thing was Renee Zellwegger's British accent it was really good.

I like them they're funny, but her accent can be quite annoying. It's just a funny film not how us english people really are
