What would you ask Suraj Sharma, the star of Life of Pi?

Directed by Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain) and based upon the bestselling novel by Yann Martel, LIFE OF PI tells the story of a young man’s incredible survival at sea against almost impossible odds.

A remarkable technological breakthrough in 3D, PI is an emotionally captivating experience that will inspire, touch and transport audiences to a place of discovery that they will never forget.

The film will debut in both 2D and 3D theaters in the U.S. on November 21st, and from late November to January across the rest of the world.

    Hi Suraj,

    I was wondering what process you had to go through to get the role of Pi, did you know that Ang Lee was going to be the director?

    Pricey Sauraj, have you ever relatively understood "The lifetime of Pi"? Do you relatively fully grasp what Martel used to be seeking to painting about belief, human psychology, and nature. Do you fully grasp the amazing meta-fiction reward within the novel? And for those who do, do you suppose like you will have accomplished your section as an actor to safely and safely painting the undertones in the Novel? This is my favourite guide, and i hope the director and you have put as much into the film as Martel put within the book. Meaning, i'm hoping that this isn't just a story a couple of boy surviving a sea voyage with a tiger. I am hoping to truly obtain a reply. Thanks.

    Hi Suraj

    Can I ask what are your personal feelings on the philosophies in the book?

    Does the script stick to and reflect all of the ideas appropriately, and has this translated effectively to the big screen?

    Did you develop any further ideas or reflections whilst filming?

    This is your first film and quite an aspiring debut I have to say. I heard the Bengal tiger you were stranded at sea with was completely CGI made! That surprised me. How did you manage to express those emotions in front of something that wasn't even there?

    Apparently he never actually filmed with a tiger and I heard from another Yahoo member that the tiger was completely CGI animated, so;

    Would you have liked to have filmed with a tiger in real life?

    Hello!

    Were you a fan of the book before you auditioned for the film?

  • 9 years ago

    Are there any scenes you feel you could of acted better with more takes? If so, what ones?

    But truthfully, I don't think I'd ask anything given the opertunity.

  • Do you think with your experience on this film. That if you were really stranded at sea, that you would be able to survive by thinking calmly and rationally?
