Who believes its the governments business to create jobs?

If so, they have done a lousy job at it. Look at what it takes to hire someone. I just want to pay them and do the work. New York and California have several forms to hire someone. Its like they are pedigree workers. This is why your businesses are exploding down here.

Liberals think surface. They don't think deep. I child would assume government creates jobs because there are police and construction workers right? Well how do they pay those people? Where does that money come from? Money taken is less money spent. Less money spent is less jobs. So what it boils down to is the efficiency of the money used. Since government.is not efficient, our more money government takes, less growth.

It is really that simple. But beyond a 5 year old

Bash- 2008 139 million people are working now 133 million. Look it up yourself dept of labor

Somewhat, but I would prefer a reliance on productive firms, a free market. But there is no such thing as pure free market, there needs to be some presence of government aid. Mainly because, I mean would you be willing to bail out a failing firm? Would a firm be willing to pay off your debts? No and no. The government spends the money no one else wants to spend in order to maintain economic growth.

It's the government's job to create a regulatory and tax climate that allows small business to create jobs.

Mostly what the government needs to do is stay out of the way as much as possible.

That's funny; last time I checked, the government was able to increase employment 20 percent in the great depression in a remarkably quick amount of time. I think I know why, and the answer is RE******** weren't in control.

Romney and Obama. Romney says that he will create 12 million jobs, while claiming that government doesn't create jobs. Obama created 5.2 million new private sector jobs.
