Error loading operating system. Help!?

I'm abroad for school for 4 months and did not bring anything for my laptop except the essentials. The other day I turned my laptop on and it showed the dell loading screen then in the top right corner there was a flashing cursor. After about 5 minutes of that 'error loading operating system' popped up. I can't do anything. Does anyone have a solution for this? Please help. Thank you! It's a Dell Inspiron Windows 7

    Oh,

You do not mention which Dell Computer you have that is having this issue. The only thing that maybe you can do is to try a Factory System Restore, since you do not have a system repair disc. Performing this function; if it works. will delete all information that you have installed on the computer.

To try and see if your system has the Factory Restore Partiton is start the computer up and press the F8 key. Once you have all the options on the screen choose the one that reads "Repair Your Computer". Follow the prompts on the screen to restore.

If this fails and you have no windows 7 disk you are pretty much out of luck. Unless you can get someone to mail you the disc.

    Thank You,
