Ex SEAL team member, Tyrone Woods (killed) and others sent out THREE separate requests for permission to help defend the consulate (they were at the time stationed at the Annex, one mile away). THEY WERE "DENIED".... THREE TIMES, AND TOLD TO STAND DOWN! They also requested outside help for air support which was... ALSO DENIED! Finally, Woods and other security personnel disobeyed orders and returned to the consulate and helped with its defense, and saved upwards of thirty people! They made it back to the Annex (safe-house) with those they had saved including the Ambassador. Another group of Al Quida were waiting for them and this was where some of the survivors were killed including Woods, other security personnel and the Ambassador. This attack lasted SIX HOURS! NO US HELP IN ALL THAT TIME! Gen Carter Ham had a DELTA FORCE ready to go (flying time - ninety min), but was relieved of command (fired) seconds before it could leave! Mission was canceled! Go figure? These denials for help were treasonous, criminal, demonstrated gross incompetence and disgusting! WHO issued them? We DO need a new leader in the White House - it is time!
