my cat has an issue with his new electromagnetic cat flap?
see the problem is, i had to switch from a normal cat flap to a new electomagnetic cat flap as all the other neighbourhood cats kept coming in and causing trouble, but now my cat cant come back again, he's having major trouble grasping what to do, im at a lost... any advice please :)

Aha ok what i think you should do is give him time to learn how to use it and become more comfortable with it there... Try to maybe tempt him in with cat treats or something that you think he/she will come for. Every day you should make him go through it a couple of times. Dont force him, give him time...

keep putting him in the trigger proximity so the door opens, then move him away so it closes, just keep doing it till he works out it's not trying to bite him.
