Is there a website where I can test myself on scales?
I'm looking for a website where I can quiz myself on the structure of scales. Like how major is structured: WWHWWWH. And a minor(dorian scale) is structured: WHWWHWW. Im looking for a website that will show, explain, and quiz you on the structures of various scale degrees. I realize that there are many scale structures from hindu to blues to bebop. I'm looking for a website that will help me quickly learn as many as possible.

I took AP Music Theory in high school and one of the first things we had to know well was scales. So for scales, http://www.musictheory.net/ this website went a long way for me! It has practice tests and it teaches you the concepts very simply so you get a firm understanding of every topic in music. I definitely recommend it. Good luck and hope this helps!
