Can you seriously beleive Disney bought the rights to Star Wars?

Im still just in shock and disbeleif. What are your insights on it?

    I'm shocked that other people are so shocked about this.

    "Star Wars" is an extremely popular thing, it can be enjoyed by the whole family, and George doesn't really want to make the effort pushing it anymore yet he still wants it to live on beyond him.

    Disney can do that and they'll increase their earnings in the process. They're keeping the people George appointed to run it and he will act as a creative consultant. Disney will continue to produce toys, movies, theme parks, and other entertainment of "Star Wars" long after George is dead and gone, which is what he wants. Both sides of the deal win.
