Cartilage shattered?& Walmart piercing question.?

Does your cartilage shatter EVERY time you pierce with a gun? Or only sometimes?

And, does walmart do helix piercings?..they do cartilage so they probably do helix right?

What people refer to as cartilage is actually a helix piercing. Most of your ear is cartilage...

Don't go to Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is so disgusting and not even close to being clean enough to have piercings going on properly. They use guns which definitely can cause your cartilage to shatter. They also cannot be sterilized, the jewelry is improper, they cause excessive trauma which creates more pain and a longer healing time, the people using them suck, the aftercare information is wrong...I could go on an on. Find you a good professional piercer.

Some might. The one in my area doesn't do it anymore because there's such a risk of it shattering. Honestly, I would go to a piercing parlor and get it done with a needle. It's so much safer! Plus it's a lot cleaner there than walmart is. I had my helix done with a gun and I kind of regret it. It came out of of crooked. Plus if you do it with a gun, there's a chance of a bump forming.

I don't think it's possible to shatter ur cartilage unless it's pierced in the wrong place. Get it done at a professional place. I got my cartilage done with a gun at this spa place that does body piercings and stuff. Gun does not shatter ur cartilage the professional piercer that pierced mine told me and they've been piercing for 25 years.
